I'm currently being punished for months of complaining I didn't have enough to do at work. Yeah, I know that you're thinking. "Didn't Jaime learn her lesson the last time she said that?"
Well, the answer is obviously no. And when you live and die by the billable hour, you need the work. Even if it comes in slamming waves.
So until I ride this wave out, things will be pretty quiet over here. In the meantime, go check out my guest post over at Jen's blog.
Catch you on the other side...

This too shall pass. I hope it passes soon.
maybe its a brief mental health break...hope you catch the next wave soon!
Good luck with the work! You will make it.
Long ago I learned to keep my mouth shut about how lucky I feel about specifics. The original "Clash of the Titans" and Chinese philosophy taught me that. How do they coincide? Hahaha! It's all about NOT letting the gods know how lucky you are. The Chinese call it "joss". Anyway, the gods will knock you down. In "Titans" they played chess w/ the humans and every time one got ahead, they'd knock him over or take his pawn or whatever it is you do in chess which I obviously don't play.
The Chinese believe in complaining to the gods how bad their joss is so the gods don't notice them and steal it.
My husband thinks this is insane but aren't you wondering just a little bit?
Piece of cake. Nothing you can't handle.....with ease.
You Be Slammin'...
Hmmm... sounds familiar.. ;o)
~shoes~
I do believe the same wave has hit me here in Utah. Sigh.
Ahh good luck and don't speak up next time, you know it'll come anyway!
We will see ya on the flip side, sister!
