I'm not the biggest fan of veggies, unless they are of the potato variety and deep fried. I pick all tomatoes off my sandwiches. Onions might as well not be served with my burgers. And forget about celery, unless it's covered in peanut butter and raisins.
But if we have to talk about vegetables, sit down, grab a cup of coffee and let's discuss...lettuce.
Do you know what you get if you google lettuce? You get THIS GUY
What possesses someone to dress up like a head of lettuce? A wilted head of lettuce no less. If the urge ever strikes me to paint my body and get dressed up as an inanimate object, I swear that I'm not going to go prancing around as lettuce.

That gave me a laugh.
Dakota: I'm glad. It was surprisingly hard for me to come up with something to say about vegetables!
I'm with you. I've never thought about dressing as lettuce. I have however, dressed lettuce.
wow. the second guy did an amazing job. or maybe he had one too many and woke up to what his friends did to him.
That first guy looks like Kiefer Sutherland.... hmmm... Yeah, seriously, what's wrong with people?
While those are interesting costumes, good luck convincing your kid to eat his veggies if he sees one of those dudes!
That second guy looks like a stand-in for some Star Trek episode..
Either that, or he's really REALLY bored.
lol. if you were a vegetable, what would you be? I think I'll be an eggplant...
Yikes those guys are creepy! Looks like one of the horrid face cream ads that pop up with my email account.
LOL,yeah I've seen the second one on the net too!Yeah why?Why are they doing that?lol
Great post!
This theme thursday is cheerful,
reyjr,why an eggplant if there's a reason?lol.Guess I'll be a tomato!
no specific reason..
RRWhiney,
I'm sitting here at work, looking at these freaky photos and trying to not laugh...I AM at work...
Thanks.
Am looking forward to you Friday post.
Ok, that's pretty weird. But made me laugh!
Ronda: What did you dress the salad as? A snowman?
Brian: Hmm...I never considered that this guy hadn't volunteered to look so rediculous. Would you dress your drunken friend up as lettuce?
Ms. S: Now that you mention it, he really does!
Wings: My son tries to eat lettuce, but he spits it out when it gets stuck on the roof of his mouth
Jor: Interesting theory, but I think bored is probably the right answer.
Reyjr: asparagus. i don't know why.
willow: those face cream ads are far creepier
candie: i think he needs a hobby...other than dressing himself up as a vegetable
auntie: friday post? are you kidding? i have to do a friday post too? :)
megan: yup. weird and laughter. that was the goal.
It looks like people from a Star Trek convention!
Eeeewww - Cabbage guy is really icky...
Gives a whole new meaning to "Cabbage Patch Kids."
otin: but no spock ears
patrice: cabbage patch kids! that would have been such a good spin on this!
I like it. A totally different take on the theme.8^)
tee hee
lettuce all get along
i bet if you came to my house for dinner you will start liking veggies!!!
If I googled before I ate, I'd never eat. Really like your blog title. Wish I'd thought of it.
Omigosh cabbage patch kids. WHY did nobody think of that?
Is this a sexual thing?
I'm in agreement that the second guy looks like someone from Star Trek, that was the my first thought and then my second thought was this guy is scarey. I just bought 3 heads of lettuce at Costco tonight and will give 2 away to my daughters, but maybe I now want to give away all 3. But those hamburgers will not taste the same without the lettuce. I always want lettuce on them. Tomatoes, red onions and cheese also, but lots and lots of lettuce. Oh now I am not so sure I want it now. I really have to get that guy out of my head.
Well, tomorrow is another day.
God bless, thank you for the post. And I did just figure out how to do the picture at the bottom, I was so proud of myself. Now if only I can remember what the heck I did. But reyjr said he will help me and take me step by step in how to do it. So if I learn I will help you or when he does help me I will try to let you know so maybe we can all learn together.
subtorp: this was a hard topic for me. i don't have much to say about veggies!
mouse: okay. i'll take you up on that challenge. email me your address and i'll be there for dinner!
CA Girl: I went through about 4 titles before this one. I probably would have changed this one too, but then it started appearing on blog rolls, so I figured I was stuck.
Megan: I know! Too obvious maybe
Kris: how'd you get that out of lettuce men?
Mrs U: did i totally turn you off to lettuce for the rest of your life?
