Exhausted

These days, I'm working 2 jobs. The attorney who used to run my dad's litigation department quit. While dad's looking for a new attorney, I'm helping the department out by picking up all of their cases that have trials scheduled this month or next.

The files are in no way ready to go to trial. They haven't been worked up the way I would have handled them, if I had been the attorney in charge from the start. Little, if any, discovery has been done. Trial briefs and subpoenas haven't been sent out. The topic of settlement hasn't even been broached.

Trying to balance that work with my own from my office is rough. I constantly feel like I'm being pulled in opposite directions. And sometimes I feel like I'm doing a disservice to both offices having my attention so divided.

2 jobs. 3 blogs. I feel like I've been neglecting all of them lately. It was so much easier to keep up before the blogger ban at the office...

And I actually was just contacted about getting paid to blog about my kid. How cool is that? Being paid to do something that I already do for free.

But add that to the equation and now I have 3 jobs, 4 blogs... Not to mention minor things like spending time with hubby, Andrew, exercise and I don't know... sleep? (forget about eating... I give up on finding time for that most days)

I need a vacation! I'm freaking exhausted.
