Here we go...again...

Once upon a time, there were 2 little boys. Let's call them Mike and Don. They were in the same English class in third grade. Mike had transferred in from a school in the City and their teacher, believing her Long Island school to be far superior, thought Don needed to catch Mike up on his reading. Instead, after school, they went out and played baseball...and they have been best friends ever since.

Years later, Mike got married and had 2 girls...Jaime and Allison. Don got married and had 4 kids...Donna, Jon, Richie and Steph. The kids were always together as they grew up. It was inevitable that at some point one of Mike's girls would fall for one of Don's boys.

The love affair carried on for years in secret between Allison and Jon. But when Don discovered their affections, he quashed it immediately. Although Mike's family would never know the exact words, it probably went something along the lines of, "When things go badly, and you know they will, this is YOU we're talking about, it'll ruin my relationship with Mike. Our family does not date Mike's family!"

And so it ended. It crushed Allison and Jon would always be the guy she compared all others to.

Years later, Donna got married. Jaime did too. Donna had a little girl. Eight months later, Jaime had a little boy. Donna was excited Jaime was having a boy, and called the little man her daughter's future husband.

Now Donna's girl - Taylor - is 2 (almost three, thank you very much). Jaime's boy -Andrew - is almost 2. Despite their best efforts to get together, the kids had never met.

Until yesterday.

It is grand! Freaking adorable too=) We have friends that we'd love to be in-laws with... we've decided we could try and keep our kids apart because ultimately they'll try to sneak around behind our backs and fall in love;) We're clever like that (or so we think).

How sweet. But I thought we betrothed Brennan and Andrew already. Brennan likes older men you know. :)

I have tried matching my sons up with the daughters of my friends and to no avail. Maybe I should have started when they were younger. That is adorable.

Here are your Questions:
1). If you were prosecuting a murderer who you knew was guilty and you had holes in your case, if you could get away with it, would you do something illegal to put him away?
2). What is your favorite old movie, pre 1960?
3). How many children would you like to have?
4). If you could build your dream house, where would it be located?
5). If you were on a sinking ship, and you had time to make one phone call, before it sank into icy water, not counting rescuers, or your son, who would you call?
If you want to answer some more just answer Brians or Subtorps!

Awww! My kid is betrothed to my BFFs youngest, too. I didn't actually have any say in the matter - she wants to control who her inlaws end up being ;)
