this never happens

My office is open whenever the courthouse is open. And since the assignment judge lives within walking distance from the courthouse, he never cancels court. Well, that and the fact that 5 years ago, he closed the courthouse on the threat of a major blizzard and then it was a beautiful, sunny day and a scorching 45 degrees. So all the other judges got on his case and he vowed not to close again.

And he hasn't...until today.

The office is closed. Day care is closed. So I'm enjoying my first snow day in almost 10 years. And so is the munchkin.

All that playing outside was hard work. Now that Andrew has passed out, I think it's time for me to follow suit.

I'm jealous! Although I haven't done any real work yet today, so I guess I can't complain too much!

LOL re: your son having passed out!
Good for you on today's snow day.
NYC public schools are also enjoying a very rare snow day today too.

Ms S: I'm still in shock that I'm off today. But what this really means is that instead of being ahead since I billed a 10 hour day yesterday, I'll be just about even when I head into the office tomorrow :(

Auntie: It is nice hanging out on the couch today. I need to do it more often. Hope you're enjoying the snow day too

While the conditions aren't great, it's nice to have a day off!

Ms F: True. But I'm ready for sailing instead of building snowmen

Hi J,
I tried to take Coco out in the back yeard and she freaked-out.
She ran back inside.

We had a big snow storm back a couple months ago and I didn't even put one toe outside. It's hard being a southern gril in the frozen tundra.

Gotta love the excited kids and snow..

There's just about no other perfect way to spend a day with the kids..

Except if it's them going to play like mad in a pool on a hot summer day, that is..

What a cutie pie! My kids never last long in the snow. It takes half an hour to get them all dressed, and they go outside for like 5 minutes.

Pain in da ass!

Hope you enjoyed your day off.

Auntie: Coco will get used to the big bad city. Maybe she just didn't like the cold?

Gladys: It's almost spring. Even the tundra will thaw

Jor: You had to rub it in, huh? I would have rather been playing with the munchkin at disney too

Candice: Thanks :) we think he's cute too but it's always nice to have a totally unbiased opinion
