Seriously?

I never ceases to amaze me how stupid people are...and the idiotic reasons people sue each other.

Like the McDonald's case. That case just makes me angry. If you're driving around with a coffee cup between your thighs, you're asking to be burned. I don't care that the coffee was "technically" too hot. The woman probably would have sued if the coffee was too cold. We have cup holders in cars for a reason. Try using one next time instead of your legs.

Anyway...

Last night I was listening to the news and heard about the doctor who was asking for his kidney back in his divorce. Did you hear this one? In 2001, the guy donated his kidney to his wife. A couple years later, she supposedly started having an affair and filed for divorce. Now the husband either wants his kidney back or $1.5 million.

Yeah, divorces get ugly. People who once loved each other get completely irrational over who gets to keep the china serving bowl they received as a wedding gift 20 years ago. But this is a bodily organ that's been inside this woman for the better part of a decade!

I don't know who is crazier, the guy demanding this or the attorney who's letting him...

I'm going with equal craziness for both of them. When I first read the opening of your post, I thought you were going to start nagging on Utah's AG who wants to sue the BCS for violating anti-trust laws. So our teams can't technically compete with the BCS teams... it's just like the little kid who didn't get picked to play dodgeball... get over it! There are more pressing issues to worry about. Don't get me started on the Alcohol Legislation that's been in the news. Ugh!

thats insane. how could someone even stoop that low. i'd love to see how judge jeannine pirro (yes, a daytime judge show i can't live without) would handle this in her courtroom :)
