It's Wednesday and Otin is trying to inspire the poet in all of us with his Rhyming Wednesday. You won't see any original stuff here... Today's lifted words are from e.e. cumming. I rarely understand what this guy is talking about, but I like this one - "I carry your heart with me":
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

XOXO
This is nice!
I never heard that one, you find some good ones, thank you for the support!
I'm with otin on this! You do find some deep verse. Wonderful :)
The ode to his love reminds me of the children's book "guess how much i love you" My youngest tells me every day that he can not even explain how much he loves me. He's 11. I probably have maybe 2 more years of infinite love.
I've looked at love from both sides now.....What a beautiful tribute
e.e. cummings was the firt poem I memorized in 7th grade.
we are so both and oneful
night cannot be so sky
sky cannot be so sunful
i am through you
so i
...maybe it was only part of a poem and she was taking it easy on us. Oh well!
That's a cute one.... even though cummings is difficult to follow! I heard there are some hot Kellan pics somewhere (from Twitter) this am. I'll find them and send them to you!
very nice!
What a wonderful secure feeling this invokes.
I have always liked e.e. cummings, but have to read the piece two or three times to make sense of it in MY mind!
