In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is a day to take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So today I'm taking it easy on blogging. I ask a question - you answer.
Here's this week's question:
Do you gamble? If so, what's your game of choice?
Despite the fact that I just spent the night down in Atlantic City, I hate gambling. I work way too hard for my money to just piss it away at a casino. If I play anything, it's typically slots. Craps is fun, but I don't understand it...
Have a good weekend everyone!

Well, some people take it easy on Thursday :)! I like to play black jack, but I have a tendency to not know when to walk away and mostly lose, and then get depressed, and then can't wait to do it all over again, can you say addictive personality!?!!
NO!
I know someone who was/is addicted and i certainly don't approve it at all.Too much grief! When you play like that occasionaly it's ok but when you are an addict in gambling like all the rest it can cause serious dammage.
Only on the Powerball and scratch off tickets. I am close to Cherokee, NC but haven't been there to gamble yet. It's on my "to do" list though! :)
When we are in Vegas or Atlantic City or on a cruise (which is not very often) we like to play blackjack. It is the only game that the odds are with the player and not the casino (as long as you know what you are doing).
The only time I have ever been in a casino was in Atlantic City with my parents a few years ago. All I played were the slots - I won so that was fun!
I used to work at a casino....saw so many people throw their money away. There were a few that won...damn bastards..lol. I like to play black jack, I enjoy watching craps and roulette. Just too risky for me.....maybe if I understood the games better....xooxoxo
All of my friends like to go to the casino and play slots, I go to people watch - I don't lose money that way!
Also, I've seen a lot of people play the pull tabs (I work in a bar) and get frustrated when they lose their rent money...it's sad!
I like to gamble...it's exciting but you're right...total waste of money. I only take with me the amount I'm willing to lose.
I love roulette, even though it has the worst odds. Blackjack is a lot of fun too! I'm trying to convince myself to meet up with you in Vegas in August (you do realize it'll be like 115 degrees, right?)
Once I went to a Casino, hit 777's in the slot machine, took my $20 worth of quarter, and never gambled again.
I love blackjack, but I only play at the baby tables....3 and 5 dollar minimum bets. I learned how to play craps once and won 100 bucks, but I've already forgotten the rules. I think I'm lucky I don't live close to a casino, I'd want to go back for more.....
Yes I gamble on everything...
How long will my no-worker co-worker be on her smoke break?
When will another co-worker have her baby?
What time will it start raining?
Ok - maybe that counts as betting...I bet on any and everything.
As far as real gambling...I have a somewhat "addictive" personality, so I usually just stick to the slot machines for fear I will never ever leave the casino.
The only thing I gamble on is blog giveaways. Does that count? lol Probably not since I'm not risking anything.
I love playing slots, but I always lose. I also love poker, but I can only play it online since I get too excited when I get a good hand. :) For these reasons, I normally I stick to lotto tickets. :)
I don't, not for any reason because we do get lotto tickets every now and then
I will do scratch off & lotteries very, very occasionally. As in I can't remember the last time. Used to play 5 card stud on a houseboat in the summer when I was a teen. If it's a casino it would have to be the slots. I don't really like to waste my money either.
I sometimes go to the local Indian casino. I love 3 or 4 card poker but most often just play blackjack.
I love to play blackjack. Living in CA, I used to go to Vegas quite a bit. Now, it's been 5 years since I was last there.
NOPE! Don't gamble. I’m with you on the “work too hard for it” point of view. I went to AC once and was so distracted by the extreme difference in lifestyles. You could walk out of a casino and see the street lined with homeless. Just didn't seem right to me.
I don't gamble...
Pssst. I tagged you on my blog - I had to sacrifice some random number of people....It's not my fault. blame Otin or Gaston Studios....
I don't gamble...mostly because I've never really been given the opportunity to. I don't know how to play any of those games and I don't really care to learn. We'll keep our money thank you. :)
When I did gamble it was roulette. I haven't touched anything close to that in over 10 years. I never gambled big any way.
Nope.
When BF and I go to Atlantic City, we do the buffets and walk the boardwalk.
I might spend $20 on the slots, but that's all.
Have a good weekend!
