Vegas Baby

Note: If you're looking for my Theme Thursday post, scroll down, but it's nothing happy and cheerful. I'll be out of my funk with something a bit less depressing next week... I promise! You can trust me. I'm a lawyer. ;)

Vacation. I. Need. A. Vacation. I have to wait til August though and then I'm off to Vegas. I know what you're thinking. My boss tells me every year that only my family is insane enough to go to the middle of the desert in August.

What can I say? It's tradition...And you don't mess with tradition.

For my dad, sister and hubby, Vegas is work. They have to go to a conference. But I get to tag along, stay at nice hotels, eat at great restaurants and bum around by the pool during the day.

Andrew gets to crash the firm's cocktail party. He was a big hit last year, crawling around with a big container of puffs, trying to offer them to everybody. He had quite a few takers actually. Shocking, I know! One guy actually tried to pair an appropriate wine with apple cinnamon puffs.

Hopefully he likes Vegas a bit more this year since he can do more stuff.

I can't wait! Is it August yet?

You get to go to Vegas??!!! I am so jealous. I've always wanted to go there, but haven't been able to make it there.

Yes,
A vacation is always good to look ahead to.
I really want to go to Vegas, but my BF is afraid of flying.
If you have any spare valium for him, let me know...
Hope you get out of your funk.

I've never been to Vegas. But anytime you can lounge around and shop with no kids pulling at your ankles.. it's a good thing.
