By now you know that I can't stay quiet for long...
Sometimes I think my mom is crazy. She bought eight tickets for tonight's game. Now if the Yanks were still playing the Sox, I could understand... But we're playing the Rays. Is anyone really psyched about a NY-Tampa match up?
We've got awesome seats though. So I will happily pick Andrew up early today and bring him up to my mom's so the rest of us can take in the game. My sister is actually flying home. For the game. Not mother's day. Just the game.
It's birthday celebration day at work. There are 3 tables full of food in the kitchen. I was trying so hard to be good. They had a table of not-so-bad-for-you treats... They even wrote out the ingredients in everything so you'd see that you were really eating low fat (and, yes, low taste) goodies. So I take a small portion of what is basically pudding and whipped cream. They forgot to mention the bananas in the damn dessert.
I've been allergic to bananas my entire life. I can actually touch them now without breaking out into hives. But I was never going to eat a banana and test whether I was completely over my allergy. So I'm already itchy and think at any second I'm going to turn into a human polka dot. If I do, someone's got hell to pay for failing to disclose all the ingredients in that stupid dessert.
No, it's not my fault for eating it. Who hides banana inside pudding? Who lists out the ingredients in their dish and leaves out BANANA?
Why do the vast majority of my posts end up reading like random Tuesday thoughts?
If you're watching the game tonight, look for me. I'll waive to you :)

Is the game on espn? I need to go look ! I like random things, and that picture was not that creepy
I love tables full of food and even though I try to be good, I never can behave.
That's bullshit about the bananas...seriously it's a main ingredient. Why would someone leave that out?
I lost my place reading when I saw the kid in the toilet!!! LMAO!
I hope he was not pinned in with any poo to clean off him. Yuck!!
Banana? Really? That's a new one. Allergies suck. I'm sorry they were hidding in the pudding.
Enjoy the game.
That does make one wonder how anyone could leave out such a main ingredient...so sorry you're allergic to bananas - that must suck!
Enjoy the game! Love your wordless Wednesday!
How did the banana allergy work out? Lots of people put bananas in pudding. Yuck!! Hope it didn't diminish your enjoyment of the game.
Like your post! Have fun at the game.
otin: games are usually on the YES network. not sure about espn. and you're right. "weird" would have been a better word. I'd never paint a face on my back.
marathoner: i tried so hard... but after the banana incident, i went back - twice - for the chocolate
hit 40: for the record (i can't believe i have to say this) THAT WAS NOT MY SON.
k: i know. no one believes me when i say i'm allergic to bananas. i had a field hockey coach try to force feed them to me.
and a home ec teacher made me bake banana bread.
stacy: i've always been allergic. don't really know what i'm missing.
leslie: thanks! the game was great, even with the rain and the loss.
rach: nothing could interfere with my enjoyment of the game. i was a bit itchy though.
gena: thanks. one of these days, they'll actually win one.
